Cedar Ridge Creative Centre and Art Gallery is a public art space operated by the City of Toronto. For 10 months of the year, the Cedar Ridge Gallery hosts a diverse roster of exhibits. From January to March, the gallery sponsors the Contemporary Art Exhibitions, five two-week juried exhibits featuring contemporary artists from across Ontario. Housed in a historic mansion, Cedar Ridge is surrounded by lush gardens and scenic woods. The main house features the gallery, which encompasses much of the lower floor. Innovative art exhibitions featuring a variety of media are held in the gallery from September to June. The upper floor of the house, as well as the adjacent Carriage House, consists of working studio spaces where engaging hands-on creative arts programs are offered for all ages.

The Stuart Jackson Gallery is the oldest gallery in Canada dealing in antique Japanese woodblock prints, Ukiyo-e. Ukiyo-e, meaning 'pictures of the floating world', was the most popular art form of 17th -19th century Japan. 'Ukiyo' was a Buddhist term referring to the melancholy transience of life. The concept was punningly altered to mean the fleeting pleasures of everyday life. Ukiyo-e depicted these pleasures, primarily through the medium of woodblock prints. All of the prints on display in the gallery are for sale. They also buy Japanese prints (individual or collections). Contact the gallery for current hours of operation.
